CES doesn't officially kick off until Tuesday, when 150,000 industry attendees are expected to invade Las Vegas for the nation's biggest consumer electronics show.
But reporters from around the world -- including a gaggle from the Los Angeles Times -- are already on the scene for two days of previews and news conferences that will include a look at what's hot and what's not.

Sunday's press preview day begins with a state-of-the-industry address and ends with a mini-convention of electronics makers and developers hoping to get their products and services written up or featured on TV.
