Google today acquired the team of developers who owns a popular alarm clock app for Android, Timely.

Google has acquired Bitspin, the maker of alarm app, Timely. The deal has reportedly done, but the netted amount and terms are still mystery. And, we will update as soon as Google reveals some more information about the acquisition.
For those who are not aware of Timely app, it's a beautiful elegant alarm clock for Android, available for free on Google Play store with in-app purchases for new themes, and other additional features.
The app is known for its awesome animations and Smart Rise feature that includes hand-crafted high quality sounds. Among feature, it includes Widget, Google Now integration, stopwatch, recurring alarms, adaptive snoozing, fade-in, DashClock extension, and volume buttons to snooze.
The Zurich-based startup announced the news on its blog, "Bitspin is joining Google." The complete blog post reads:
We're thrilled to announce that Bitspin is joining Google, where we'll continue to do what we love: building great products that are delightful to use.
For new and existing users, Timely will continue to work as it always has. Thanks to everyone who has downloaded our app and provided feedback along the way; we truly appreciate all your support.
Google has made a number of other acquisitions over the course of 2013, followed by Apple.
